divorce requires irretrievable breakdown of the marriage; spouses
must have either lived separately and apart, without co-habitation,
for the past 2 years; or the spouses must have both consented to the
divorce and signed and filed affidavits of consent. |

grounds for divorce include, but are not limited to, adultery, desertion,
extreme cruelty, conviction for a crime and a sentence of at least
2 years' imprisonment, bigamy, and at least 18 months of confinement
for a mental disorder with discharge not expected within the following
